Governing Royal Arch in Northern India

The Byelaws of the Regional Grand Chapter of Northern India govern all Royal Arch Chapters working within this jurisdiction under the authority of the Supreme Grand Royal Arch Chapter of India.

The Chapter Byelaws cover:

  • The formation and registration of Royal Arch Chapters
  • The election and installation of Chapter Principals and officers
  • The admission and exaltation of companions
  • Financial obligations and Chapter dues
  • The conduct of Chapter meetings and ceremonies
  • Passing of Degrees and companion progression
  • Appeals and disciplinary matters

All 51 Royal Arch Chapters under RGLNI must have byelaws consistent with these Regional Chapter Byelaws. Chapter byelaws require approval from the Regional Grand Chapter before coming into force.
