Who We Are
The Regional Grand Lodge of Northern India is one of four regional bodies under the Grand Lodge of India — overseeing Craft, Chapter, Mark, and Royal Ark Masonry across Northern India.
Founded on November 27, 1961, we have grown from a founding vision into one of the most active Masonic regions in the country.
From Jammu to Jaipur, Dehradun to Delhi — we're where Freemasonry lives in Northern India.
Geographic Coverage
New Delhi, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Noida, Gurgaon — the heart of Indian Freemasonry is Freemasons' Hall, Janpath.
Amritsar, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Chandigarh — including Lodge Vishwakarma #173 and its pioneering charity work.
Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Meerut, Agra, Mathura — including Lodge #2, founded 1828, one of India's oldest.
Jaipur, Ajmer, Shimla, Kalka, Dehradun, Nainital, Roorkee — lodges in the hills and the plains.
Our Home Base
Built in 1936, this heritage building sits on 2.5 acres in the heart of India's capital — home to 49 Craft Lodges and 20 Chapters.
Our Leadership
The Regional Grand Master leads our region — appointed by the Grand Master of India for a three-year term.
